    Useful stuff, if your toaster's got a JS interpreter you can run Wayland on it too.

      That's not what this achieves. This is not a Wayland compositor written in JS, which would be cool, but rather some C++ code to compile in bindings to the Wayland client libraries to Node.js' interpreter. It's useful to quickly prototype new Wayland clients without needing a "real" toolkit, nothing more.
