Phoronix: Mesa 9.1 Release Reaffirmed For Late February

Mesa 9.1 should be released by the end of February as the latest version of this bi-annual open-source OpenGL implementation that continues to slowly but surely pickup new functionality for most major graphics drivers...

    No OpenGL ES 3.0?

Will we see outside of schedule MESA 10.0 when ES 3.0 will be ready?

      Galium 3D

So is Galium distributed with Mesa or is that separate?
Can anyone provide a link on how to update Mesa (including Galium and drm)?

I was using Galium 0.2 on a Radeon 6870, but it wasn't fast enough at 1080p, so I installed AMD catalyst.
I was thinking maybe Galium was an older version on the distro (opensuse)?

GLES3 will be part of this release (for the Intel driver, at least)

I expect the next release to be 10.0 and include full GL3.3 support.

If that's the last time you used Gallium...

          Updated to 0.4 on Feb 3 2010

... then you haven't used Gallium since before Mesa 7.5, which didn't have an R600 driver.

Sorry, got a little carried away with git.
