        Acceleration I can wait for; it'll come soon enough. Catalyst works on my current install pretty well so I'm in no hurry.

            well in my case i noticed that kwin in composite is instantaneus when combined with QT4 Raster, well my PC is kinda powerful but this patch killed any delay i experinced before.

            on the other side openarena jumped from 95fps to 135fps at 1440x900

            btw you need certain xorg options and add some stuff to driconf

            Xorg
            Option "ColorTiling"
            Option "EnablePageFlip"
            Option "SwapbuffersWait" "false"

            ,drirc
            <option name="vblank_mode" value="1" />

            radeon hd 4850x2
            8gb ram
            phenom II 955 X4 (waiting for bulldozer or dual magny cours if i can't wait)
