      WTF does M.I.A. stand for? Is it this acronym: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Missing+In+Action from the Dictionary of Military of the US Department of Defense? How the hell are normal non-american people supposed to know that?

        They clearly hired some people away from Valve to do the driver development. That means, version 3.0 NEVER gets released.

            I'm an American but I knew what MIA meant even as a kid. I was under the impression that it was a pretty common phrase is English speaking countries in general, which would be Michael's main market since he reports in English.

              I'm in Canada, it's familiar. I've also used it in with brits, they seemed to get it too.

                Because it's general knowledge, even among non-American non-military people? It's one of those bits of military jargon that long-ago entered wider usage.
