    Could you please retest it against results in here?
    No one really understood why Intel performance on Ubuntu has dropped that low.

      did it drop though or is it simply that most linux devs are just copy pasting old code without even benchmarking it for speed
      as well as functionality !, when was the last time any dev bothered to run benchmarks on a set of routines and publish the before and after results with their patches.

      the one thing you can say about the apple devs is they have apparently SIMD optimised virtually all their generic libraries and related code for general use,although its not apparent that they are using much AVX yet, they did exactly the same with their previous PowerPC OS with Altivec SIMD, whereas the PPC linux devs never even bothered to use any SIMD mostly, although the odd 3rd party dev might go to the trouble, and so end users always lost out on speed, the good news is the many ARM devs seem to have realised that mistake of lost performance they can get for free with some effort and are at least on the surface actually SIMD optimising their growing A9/15/NEON code bases today
